我们收集什么

我们(开发者)不收集、不上传、不存储你的任何个人数据。知物没有账号、没有后台服务器;我们不做统计分析、不放广告、不做第三方追踪。

你在知物里产生的内容——你输入或说出的文字(物品与位置)、你可选添加的照片、记录时间——只保存在你这台设备的应用私有空间里,知物不会把它们发给我们或任何人。唯一的例外是你自己开启的系统备份,见下文「系统备份」。

权限说明

• 相机 / 照片:仅当你主动为某条记录"加照片"时才会用到,用于把你拍的或选的照片存进应用的本地存储。你不加照片就永远不会触发。
• 网络与购买(Android 的 INTERNET、ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE、BILLING):这几条由 Google Play 结算组件带进来。知物自己的代码不发任何网络请求——你记的文字、照片、搜索,一个字节都不会因此离开这台设备。详见下文「购买」。
• 除此之外,知物不申请定位、通讯录、麦克风等任何敏感权限。语音输入走系统键盘的听写;iPhone 上的 Siri 快捷指令("Note it in Cubby")由 Siri 处理。两者都由系统完成,不经过我们。

购买

• 知物免费下载。可选购买的只有装饰外观:朱漆、青瓷、乌木、黄铜四款容器材质,以及部分平台上的"夜灯"配色套装。按款一次性购买,不是订阅;记录、搜索、房间等功能永远免费。
• 购买由 App Store / Google Play 处理,我们拿不到你的支付信息,也不会收到你的账号。
• 每次打开 App 时,不论你买没买过东西,App 都会通过商店的购买组件向 App Store / Google Play 查询商品价格和你已经买过的外观。
• Android 上,Google Play 结算组件还会把它自己的运行诊断发给 Google,用于改进 Google Play 结算服务。内容包括接口调用是否成功、连接问题,以及手机型号与厂商、系统版本、语言与国家/地区、运营商与网络类型、时区、App 版本等设备信息,不含你在知物里记的任何内容。这部分由 Google 按其隐私政策处理,我们收不到。
• 你买过什么只记录在你的设备上和商店那边。换手机或重装之后,用 App 里的"恢复购买"把已买的外观拿回来——它向商店重新查询收据。导出的备份文件里不含购买权利:备份可以随手转发,把已购外观写进去等于谁拿到文件谁解锁。

数据如何被分享

你记的内容不分享,不会发送给我们或任何第三方。离开设备的只有上面「购买」里说的两样:向商店查询价格与已购,以及 Android 上结算组件发给 Google 的运行诊断。

系统备份

如果你在手机上开启了系统备份(iPhone 的 iCloud 云备份、Android 的 Google 备份),系统会按你的设置把知物的应用数据(记录和照片)一并备份进你自己的 iCloud 或 Google 账号。这是你和 Apple / Google 之间的事,我们收不到这份备份。重装知物时,系统可能会自动恢复它。Android 的应用数据备份有 25MB 上限,超过时系统不会备份。

数据存储与删除

• 所有数据存在你设备的应用私有空间。
• 你可以在应用内删除任意一条记录;卸载应用会清除本机上的全部数据。
• 卸载不会删除系统备份里的那份。要彻底清除,请在手机的 iCloud 或 Google 备份设置里删掉知物的备份。
• 你导出的备份文件是你自己的文件,删除记录不会改动已经导出的备份。

儿童

我们不收集任何人的个人数据,知物适合所有年龄使用。

What we collect

We (the developer) do not collect, upload, or store any of your personal data. Cubby has no account and no backend server; we run no analytics, no ads, and no third-party tracking.

Everything you create in Cubby — the text you type or dictate (items and locations), any photos you choose to add, and timestamps — is stored only in the app's private storage on your device. Cubby never sends it to us or to anyone else. The one exception is a system backup you turn on yourself; see "System backups" below.

Permissions

• Camera / Photos: used only when you actively "add a photo" to a note, to copy the photo you take or choose into the app's local storage. If you never add a photo, this is never triggered.
• Network and billing (Android's INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, BILLING): these come with Google Play's billing component. Cubby's own code makes no network requests — your notes, photos and searches never leave the device because of them. See "Purchases" below.
• Cubby requests no location, contacts, or microphone permissions. Voice input uses your keyboard's dictation, and the iPhone Siri shortcut ("Note it in Cubby") is handled by Siri. Both are done by the operating system, never routed through us.

Purchases

• Cubby is free to download. The only things for sale are decorative looks: four container materials (Lacquer, Celadon, Ebony, Brass) and, on some platforms, the "Night Lamp" color pack. Each is a one-time purchase, not a subscription; noting, searching, rooms and every other feature stay free.
• Purchases are handled by the App Store / Google Play. We never see your payment details and never receive your account.
• Each time the app opens, whether or not you have bought anything, it uses the store's purchase component to ask the App Store / Google Play for prices and for the looks you already own.
• On Android, Google Play's billing component also sends its own diagnostics to Google to improve Google Play billing: whether its calls succeeded, connection problems, and device details such as model and manufacturer, OS version, language and country/region, carrier and network type, time zone, and app version. It contains nothing you wrote in Cubby. Google handles it under its own privacy policy; we never receive it.
• What you own is recorded only on your device and with the store. After a new phone or a reinstall, use "Restore purchases" in the app — it re-queries the store for your receipts. Exported backup files contain no purchase entitlements: a backup can be forwarded to anyone, so writing purchases into it would mean whoever holds the file gets the goods.

How data is shared

Your content isn't shared — not with us, not with any third party. The only things that leave the device are the two described under "Purchases": the store lookup for prices and purchases, and, on Android, the billing component's diagnostics sent to Google.

System backups

If you have turned on your phone's system backup (iCloud Backup on iPhone, Google backup on Android), the system may include Cubby's app data — your notes and photos — in the backup stored in your own iCloud or Google account, according to your settings. That is between you and Apple / Google; we never receive it. When you reinstall Cubby, the system may restore it automatically. Android's app-data backup has a 25 MB limit; above it, the system does not back the app up.

Storage & deletion

• All data lives in the app's private storage on your device.
• You can delete any note inside the app; uninstalling the app removes all data on the device.
• Uninstalling does not delete the copy in your system backup. To remove it completely, delete Cubby's backup in your phone's iCloud or Google backup settings.
• Backup files you export are your own files; deleting a note does not change a backup you already exported.

Children

We collect no personal data from anyone, and Cubby is suitable for all ages.
